I had so much fun on Friday evening shooting this beautiful girl. She is getting ready to start her final year at the school that I grew up in and I just love her. Three things:

1. My daughter wants to be just like her.
2. She is as sweet as pie.
3. She is totally gorgeous and I am so jealous of her beautiful blue eyes.

Okay that was four. Thanks for being awesome, Kaitlyn!

A Hot Day {Stonewall Senior Photographer}

I love this field. It’s beautiful. I’ve been wanting to take some photos in this field for awhile now and Becky was the perfect model. It was literally about 100 degrees and 90 percent humidity. I was sweating like a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs. It. was. hot. But she was a total trooper again and I’m so happy with the results. Thank you Becky for another great shoot!

New Beginnings – Rebecca {Stonewall Senior Photographer}

That’s what today was. A day of new beginnings, for me and for her. For her, because she is a senior getting ready to take on the world. For me, because, well, she is the first stranger to ever let me torture them with my camera! We went to downtown Shreveport and just drove around finding places to shoot. I was so nervous, but Rebecca’s sweet personality put me at ease and we had a great time. She’s an amazing girl, going to school, working at our local daycare in the evenings and still maintainting  a 4.0. As you can see, she’s absolutely gorgeous, too. She scraped up her foot trying to save my light stand and she didn’t even complain. Later, when I saw the blood on her foot, I said, “OMG, Rebecca, what happened!?”  And she said, “That’s what happened when I fell.” I don’t know if I’ve ever felt worse, but she said she has three brothers and it was no big deal. She is a trooper, for sure. I know I would have cried…and made my husband come and carry me around for the rest of the day. Anyway, I couldn’t have asked for a better person to help me start my journey. Rebecca, thank you for trusting me and I’m sorry about your foot. Here are a few. I hope you like them. :)
